We are looking for an experienced Reception Manager to join these 4 star country houses.

About the Hotel

The first Hotel is based in Burford and is a highly rated 4-star, 1 rosette traditional English country house hotel in the Cotswolds. The hotel has 21 beautiful bedrooms which are individually designed, a cosy bar with local ales on tap and a 1 Rosette restaurant that can accommodate 80 + guests. Due to the hotels beautiful location the hotel hosts a number of weddings, functions and special occasions throughout the year.

The second hotel is also based in Burford this 15th century 4-star country hotel has 2 restaurants, one being within the informal cosy bar which offers light bites and snacks, the hotel also has a 2 rosette restaurant which is often used for functions, special occasions and weddings throughout the year. The hotel offers 17 en-suite bedrooms and beautiful grounds for you to take country walks and if you want to bring your dog along then they are also a dog friendly hotel so your 4 legged friends are welcome.

Working as a Reception Manager

As a Reception Manager you will be responsible for both properties and both reception teams at each hotel, you will need to have outstanding management and customer service skills, attention to detail, and consistently professional and friendly approach.

You will need to have had previous experience of working within a hotel reception management position and have a full understanding of hotel reservation systems, have great sales knowledge and MS Office suite.

In addition to your excellent customer service skills, you should be a punctual and reliable team player with strong communication skills, a self driven approach, and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
