Job description

This is an entry level position for an Engineer-In-Training (EIT). We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and wants to get their Professional Engineering License and further their career and knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering specializing in Land Development. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design of land development projects
  • Basic comprehension of fundamental civil engineering concepts required
  • Interpretation of design drawings and survey data
  • Preparation of construction documents including: paving, drainage, utility, detention, water, sanitary sewer and storm plans
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare design drawings
  • Prepares design computations and quality estimates

  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four year university
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
  • 0 (Entry-Level) to 4 years professional work experience
  • Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certificate a plus
  • Valid United States drivers license
  • English (Required)

Salary range $65,000 - $75,000
