Job description

Responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and technical readiness of simulators. This role combines hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance tasks with technical assistance and support functions. The objective is to maintain high availability and performance of the simulators while supporting the maintenance team with engineering insights and operational guidance

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on simulators according to established procedures and schedules.
  • Identify and resolve technical and mechanical issues in simulators effectively.
  • Coordinate with departments for inspections, performance tests, and external maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Provide real-time technical assistance to the maintenance team during complex operations.
  • Collaborate in the creation and update of technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate with the development team to implement simulator upgrades and improvements.
  • Deliver and support technical training for maintenance staff on new systems and procedures.
  • Manage a knowledge management system to support continuous learning within the team.
  • Participate in performance review meetings and simulator hardware obsolescence analysis.
  • Support resolution of discrepancies not solved by routine maintenance and contribute to internal audits and quality system updates.
  • Conduct periodic checks, including QTGs.
  • Recommend technical improvements to boost simulator performance and efficiency.

Technical degree or certification in electronics, mechanical systems, or aeronautics

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronic, Mechanical, Aeronautic) or Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Licensed Maintenance Engineer is a plus.MBA or equivalent preferred

 

  • Local language: C1 • English: B2
  • Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and simulator systems. • Knowledge of simulator systems and associated equipment. • Strong technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with documentation management and collaboration tools. • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with different departments.
