DevOps engineer

As a DevOps engineer, you will use your skills to drive to build applications and systems that will help showcase new and disruptive enterprise technologies. The work you accomplish will be used by engineers selling the latest Enterprise solutions. You will be responsible for driving forward initiatives for automation, continuous delivery, monitoring, high availability, and scalability. An ideal candidate will be able to execute on the details, as well as define an overall vision. 

Some of the things you’ll do:

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies
  
• Understand, implement, and automate security controls and governance processes
• Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems
• Implement systems that are highly available and scalable
• Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes, and that can be re-used by our customers

• Higher education sales experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to give compelling presentations
• Ability to reach the right decision makers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter who has a desire to learn and likes to work within a team setting
• Strategic thinker, able to process client and team input and relay that to project teams in a clear, concise manner
• High comfort level working on complex and sometimes ambiguous tasks
• Must be honest, intelligent, curious, articulate, energetic, tenacious, organized, and humble
