Job description
As IT Infrastructure and Support Manager you will lead the growth of the IT department at AvantCredit as the company goes through a period of hyper growth. In this role you will have a unique opportunity to build out a new IT department for a technology company as it evolves from a small start up to a large multinational organization. You will be responsible for development of both the infrastructure and the organizational structure necessary to scale the business. You will have the opportunity to build a new infrastructure using cloud based and on premise solutions without the burden of legacy infrastructure. You will lead the development of an IT support organization enabling the business to scale. And you will do whatever else it takes to get the job done ranging from network architecture to handling support tickets.
Accountable for:
- Build out and maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Creation and management of user management system
- Setup and deployment of standardized desktops in a contact center environment
- Management of corporate assets
- Stability and maintenance of Telco systems
- Services levels for all Tiers of IT support
- 3-4 years’ experience
- Entrepreneurial and self-driven
- Thrives in unstructured environments
- Strong academic credentials from a top tier university/college
- Familiarity with deployment and administration of open source Kerberos & LDAP implementations and their integration with RADIUS and Active Directory
- Production server virtualization experience preferred
- Previous experience with Linux server & desktop administration as well as familiarity with Linux-based tools for authentication and desktop deployments
- Previous Experience with Linux and desktop deployments.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop administration
- while growing out Tier 2 and Tier 3 support layers
- Experience with IT inventorying methods and organization.
- Experience integrating internal authentication systems with web applications using SAML or other technologies preferred
- Experience within a sensitive data environment a plus.
- Zendesk experience is a plus.
- RSA or Yubikey based OTP security appliance deployment experience a plus
- IPsec VPN experience a plus
- Experience with Storage Area Networks a plus
