Roles and Responsibilities:

You will develop electronic technology for innovative   electro-mechanical systems for leak detection including specialized design of   high-stability, high-voltage power supplies, low-noise Femtoamp signal   detectors for mass spectrometry, and graphic display interface. You will   collaborate with mechanical and software engineers in a creative, hands-on   laboratory to define high-level system architecture, design electronic   subsystems, and perform functional system integration. You will design and   implement specialized laboratory and product test systems as needed. You will   also work with our manufacturing, purchasing, marketing departments and   customers to transform your designs into products shipping worldwide.

The ideal candidate has broad knowledge from high-level system architecture   to the functional details, and can effectively multitask in a fast-paced   environment. Though you'll be part of a cross-functional team, you will also   be working independently and setting your own priorities. The scope and   complexity of your projects will be based on your existing knowledge and   capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills.

-Reduces broad concepts, business strategies into structured projects -Leads the design/ delivery of new product/ process/ service technology   advancements; is the key technical contributor -Solves complex, high impact design/ development problems.

BSEE with minimum of 15 years experience in electronics   engineering plus a thorough theoretical and practical understanding of   electronics and the integration into complex electro-mechanical assemblies.   Extensive knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation   engineering tools such as DxDesigner, Cadence/OrCAD, or MultiSym.   Ability to perform analog and digital circuit design from concept to   production support including, but not limited to: electrometer circuits, high   voltage switching power supplies, DC to MHz analog circuitry using   transistor, operational amplifier and non-linear elements, CPLD / FPGA, SoC,   microcontroller and standard logic circuitry, PC/104, SPI, I2C and custom   interfacing circuitry.

The ability to work in a multi-disciplined, cross-department   environment.   Working knowledge of the software requirements in a complex   electro-mechanical system using C, C+ or C++   Knowledge of common office tools such as SAP and MS Office.     Person that can work independently, has experience with circuit design/lab   testing. Self motivated.     Needs experience with analog/digital circuit design, integrated circuits,   hardware exp, hands-on.
