Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location can either be Huntingdon, Colchester, Lincoln or Northampton.

We are recruiting for 5 Team Leaders to join us on a permanent basis, within our Drainage teams in Development Services.
Utilising exceptional leadership skills, you will provide support and guidance to your team, inspiring a culture of excellence and developing team members to fulfil their potential. You will champion customer experience using our Make Today Great campaign and have the customer at the heart of everything you do.
A key part of this role is to lead a high performing team with direct line management of team members. Providing inspiring leadership, you’ll help to create and deliver change, training and development plans, and support your team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
You will ensure compliance with company procedures, Water UK & Ofwat metrics and challenge yourself to outperform our DMeX goals. Collaborating with other teams you will deliver short, medium and long-term plans to embed a resilient, supportive, performance-based culture across Development Services.
There will be an opportunity to lead either a field-based team or hybrid working teams.

What does it take to be a Team Leader?
You’ll be a highly motivated, inspiring leader, as well as:
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communicator at all levels
Able to build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
Proven experience within a Customer Service environment
Ability to demonstrate an affinity with the customer and understand how service improvements can be achieved
A proven record of improving customer service
Proven leadership knowledge and experience
Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements e.g GDPR
Business and commercial acumen
Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
Excellent organisational skills
Flexible and self-motivated
Ability to converse over multiple locations and geographies
