Cloud Architect- Expert

Client is looking for a cloud architect to help asses and design infrastructure for our replacement enterprise database application (SEIMS.) The primary role is to design the infrastructure and application environments which include production, testing and development. This position must demonstrate a thorough understanding of project management principles to plan and coordinate large and complex technical changes and implementations in this large system development project. This position must also be responsible to develop requirements and evaluate competing cloud technical solutions objectively, and manage system events and outages effectively through resolution.

Candidate must have the following:

• Understanding and use of AIX architectures and hardware

• Experience with networking and firewall concepts and operations

• Experience with SAN technology

• Experience with cloud infrastructure design in AWS and Azure.

• Experience with SOA and integration architectures utilizing Enterprise Service Bus frameworks

• Experience with high availability concepts and implementations (hardware and software based)

• Experience with application performance monitoring tools and concepts, and application performance management practices

• Experience with OS and software maintenance including upgrade planning and implementation
