Job description

Client is seeking two Support Technician contract positions . These positions will work closely with  IT Application Support Teams in support of Microsoft Excel and Access. Client is in the process of updating the version of Excel and Access across the enterprise. These positions will provide leadership with testing new versions of Excel and Access with Macro and VBA technologies, and the impact of business spreadsheets and databases.Cleint has multiple business areas that are running numerous Macro and VBA codes. This position will work with each business area during the testing of newer Excel spreadsheets and Access databases against their Macro/VBA codes to confirm they are working correctly. This position will work with the business area on building new Macro/VBA codes and databases if needed in newer Excel and Access versions. The contractors will identify, test, and document all steps taken while performing these duties.

Mandatory Requirements

1. Candidate must have the following certifications: a. MOS: Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2010:: Exam 77-882

b. MOS: Microsoft Office Specialist Access 2010:: Exam 77-885

c. MOS: Microsoft Office Excel 2016 Core:: Exam 77-727

d. MOS: Microsoft Office Access 2016:: Exam 77-730

e. MOS: Microsoft Office 365:: Exam 77-891

2. Must have 5+ years’ experience supporting MS Office Excel – Access 2010 in an enterprise environment of 500+ users.

3. Must have led an upgrade of Microsoft Office Excel and Access from v2010 to Office 365 in enterprise environment of 500+ users.

Technical Requirements

1. The candidates must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications working within an Active Directory and Exchange Email environment.

2. The candidates must have a working knowledge of SAP Connectivity with MS Excel.

3. The candidates must have a working knowledge of Access Databases connections into MS SQL Server.

4. The candidates must have experience consulting and instructing users on Excel and Access software questions/issues.

5. The candidates must have Advanced Experiences creating Macro/VB Code within MS Excel.

6. The candidates must have Advanced Working knowledge of Visual Basic Editor (VBE).
