Job description
We are looking for a new colleague for the Plant Engineering team to manage our utility, building automation and PLC systems and ensure that system projects meet our standards and are up to date and in compliance with our GMP Quality standards. In this role you will be part of the Maintenance Engineering organization and support daily operations, perform troubleshooting and implementation of projects.
Our team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of utility systems, including Building Management System (BMS) and Validated Data System (VDS) as well as several standalone PLC control systems. The Building Management System controls the HVAC systems and other Utility Systems such as the Boiler and Cooling plant. The VDS System collects data and monitor alarms from the GMP critical systems. The VDS/BMS system is a DCS system, consisting of several servers and distributed logic controllers. Beside the Building Management system, the group also supports many Standalone PLC systems mainly based on Siemens and Allen Bradley. You will join a team of 10 dedicated colleagues and report to the Manager for the Maintenance, Plant Engineering. Your main responsibilities are
- Ownership of BMS, VDS and PLC systems to support to the on-going manufacturing and utility operation.
- Manage planning and implementation of continues incoming project in corporation with our customers (Utility, Manufacturing and Project Engineering).
- Participate in project meetings with our customers to ensure correct definition of User Requirements and optimal implementation of projects
- Participate in continual system improvement and upgrade programs as required.
- Support commissioning and qualification activities as required.
- Interface with end users of the system and implement necessary changes
- Ensure systems and associated documentation maintains their validated states.

Professional qualifications: You have a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or equivalent degree with minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience within BMS/DCS systems and PLC control systems.
