Job description
The Program Director for Pain is a high-impact, hands-on leader with responsibility for significant elements of program strategy and cross-functional execution. This individual partners with the PDC Lead to drive asset strategy, implementation plans, analyses and progress. This role requires a talented individual with experience integrating cross-functional considerations into initiatives and decisions. He or she will work closely with senior decision makers from across the company and provide leadership within the cross-functional asset team.
The Associate Program Director will
- Manage the PDC plan (18 month detailed, 5yr high level), risk register, decision log and monthly dashboard progress tracking to monitor progress of all program deliverables to the strategic goals
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Asset team including:
- Drive program goal planning and execution
- Identification of key strategic issues and decisions;
- Manage team agendas and meetings
- Lead Life Cycle Management process to enable effective prioritization and investment decisions on new program opportunities; pull through to LRP and AOP activities
- Lead PDC Communications Team to ensure consistent and effective execution of communication priorities and plan; update monthly and quarterly PDC/investor reports
- Is responsible for issue identification, resolution and escalation
- Act as a central point of contact and drive collaboration and consistency across the team
- Engage stakeholders, ensure cross-functional alignment, and facilitate communication across company
Significant experience (10 years+) in drug development and commercialization with exceptional business acumen and executive, general management perspective.
