Copy of Electrical Designer (for projects in Switzerland)

You will be joining the HVAC team located in Bellinzona, Zürich and Lausanne belonging to the Building Services & Environment” Business Unit. This unit has approximately 92 employees globally, including Electrical designers and energy/environmental specialists. With more than 20 years of experience, the group is able to provide architects with all the services they need to develop energy-aware projects and design all the technical components inside the building.

Main focus for this group are projects related to buildings, industrial facilities and data centers.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Develop 2D drawings using AutoCAD and create 3D BIM models with Autodesk Revit (MEP)
• Produce electrical layouts, schematics, and panel drawings for LV systems
• Support engineers in designing both low and high voltage systems
• Take part in BIM coordination, including clash detection and model reviews

Must have:

• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design or BIM modeling
• Strong proficiency in Revit (with MEP preferred)
• Solid knowledge of AutoCAD
• Understanding of LV/HV electrical systems basics
• Familiarity with European/international standards (EN/IEC)
• Ability to work independently and effectively in remote teams
• Good communication and coordination skills
• English level B2 or higher

Good to have:

• Experience in datacenter or industrial projects
• Experience with electrical calculation tools (such as ETAP, Schneider, or similar)
• Understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes
• Familiarity with BoQ extraction from Revit
• German or Italian language skills
