Progressive Care Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Position Overview

Grow your nursing career in a leadership role as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator on a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a hands-on opportunity to lead staff, support quality patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic acute-care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver, coordinate, and evaluate safe, patient-centered care.

• Provide coaching, training, and real-time support to clinical staff.

• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members.

• Participate in staff scheduling and workflow oversight.

• Support admission and discharge processes for a 34-bed PCU.

• Monitor patients with:

  • Chest pain, CVA/TIA, sepsis, pulmonary conditions, neuro issues, and COVID-related diagnoses.

  • Infusions including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, and Lasix.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active RN license

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Prior Charge Nurse experience

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Stroke Certification (required within 30 days of hire)
