Cardiovascular ICU Nurse

Overview

Deliver evidence-based care to complex cardiac patients in a focused CVICU. Collaborative environment with clear pathways to CCRN and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Continuous cardiac monitoring and ventilator management

• Vasoactive drip titration and rapid response participation

• Discharge readiness teaching and family support

• Accurate documentation and contribution to unit quality metrics

Required

• FL or compact RN license (or eligibility)

• 1 year recent ICU, CVICU, or ER experience

• BLS at hire; ACLS within 6 months; NIHSS within 30 days
  Preferred

• BSN; CCRN encouraged
