Medical Laboratory Scientist

Overview

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist near Spring Hill, FL. This role ensures accurate lab testing and quality reporting across multiple technical disciplines, supporting timely clinical decisions and patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and stat laboratory testing.

• Monitor, document, and report patient results.

• Perform delta checks and ensure quality control compliance.

• Assist with supply monitoring and inventory management.

• Provide support for CAP and hospital inspections.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed.

• Associate degree in Medical Technology required; Bachelor’s preferred.

• Active Florida State Technologist license.

• Minimum 3 years of medical laboratory experience.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
