Cardiac Telemetry RN

Overview

We are seeking a Cardiac Telemetry RN near Overland Park, KS. This unit provides specialized nursing care for post-cardiac surgery patients and those recovering from interventional procedures including stents, ablations, and device placements. Nurses also provide care for stroke and STEMI patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective care for cardiac and telemetry patients.

• Interpret telemetry rhythms and act promptly on acute changes.

• Provide post-op care for cardiac surgical and interventional cases.

• Support patient and family education for recovery and long-term wellness.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.

• Missouri or Compact RN license required.

• ADN or BSN in Nursing.

• One year of recent acute care cardiac RN experience.

• BLS certification at start; ACLS within 6 months.

• Critical thinking and team collaboration skills.
