Registered Nurse Trauma OR

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Trauma OR to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. This role requires strong trauma and surgical skills, acute care experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using evidence-based practices and the nursing process.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Provide trauma and surgical support in a high-acuity, acute care environment.

• Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Licensure:

• Current Florida RN license or compact state RN license (subject to state licensing requirements).

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

• ACLS (AHA) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of trauma or operating room acute care experience.

• Direct trauma or high-acuity surgical experience required.
