Emergency Room Registered Nurse

In this fast-paced environment, you will care for patients across all age groups and acuity levels—from minor injuries to critically ill patients—while working collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages with diverse medical needs.

• Manage multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing care based on acuity.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and coordinate care plans.

• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with standards of care.

• Focus on patient safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes.

• Education: Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required); BSN or enrollment in a BSN program (preferred).

• Licensure: Active RN license in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license with Virginia eligibility.

• Certifications: BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.

• Experience:

  • 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Room preferred.

  • Med-Surg RNs eligible for cross-training (night shift only).

Shift Differentials

• Night Shift: +$3.00/hour

• Weekend Days: +$3.00/hour

• Weekend Nights: +$7.00/hour
