Progressive Care Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and training for nursing staff.

• Support improved patient outcomes and enhance patient experience.

• Assist with staff scheduling, admissions, and discharge processes.

• Oversee and manage a 34-bed PCU caring for patients with:

  • Chest pain, CVA/TIA, sepsis, and pulmonary complications

  • Drips including cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, and lasix

  • Neurological and COVID-related conditions

• Licensure: Active RN license (required)

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)

• Experience: Prior Charge Nurse experience (required)

• Certifications:

  • BLS – within 30 days of hire

  • ACLS – within 30 days of hire

  • NIHSS Stroke Certification – within 30 days of hire
