Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and training for nursing staff.
Support improved patient outcomes and enhance patient experience.
Assist with staff scheduling, admissions, and discharge processes.
Oversee and manage a 34-bed PCU caring for patients with:
Chest pain, CVA/TIA, sepsis, and pulmonary complications
Drips including cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, and lasix
Neurological and COVID-related conditions
Licensure: Active RN license (required)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)
Experience: Prior Charge Nurse experience (required)
Certifications:
BLS – within 30 days of hire
ACLS – within 30 days of hire
NIHSS Stroke Certification – within 30 days of hire
