Job description
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. In this role, you will provide critical support for invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures while delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities
Perform and assist with cardiac catheterizations, EP device therapies, interventional radiology, neuro-diagnostics, endovascular procedures, and structural heart interventions (LAAC, TAVR).
Support all aspects of patient care including transport, site preparation, sterile procedures, and post-procedure monitoring.
Accurately maintain documentation and manage emergent cases.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and team members to ensure quality care.
Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and sound decision-making under pressure.
Current and valid RN license.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of Cath Lab experience, or 5 years in a high-acuity setting (ICU or similar).
BLS and ACLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
Experience with circulating, monitoring, and administering sedation medications.
Additional Information
Unit Size: 3 procedure rooms; average of 4–6 procedures per day.
Shift Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (12-hour shifts).
Mapping experience not required (performed by a third-party team).
