Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals as an Emergency Room RN in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. You will provide exceptional care across all patient ages, handling cases ranging from minor injuries to critically ill patients, while collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Night shift opportunities include cross-training for Med-Surg candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients across the lifespan

• Manage multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing care based on acuity

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate follow-up care plans

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

• Promote patient safety and a positive patient experience

Education: Diploma or Associate Degree from a professional nursing program required; BSN or enrollment in a BSN program preferred
Licensure: Active RN license in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license eligible for Virginia practice
Certifications: BLS (required)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an ER setting preferred; Med-Surg candidates may be cross-trained for night shifts
