Registered Nurse Cardiac Neuro

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Neuro (Stroke Unit) to join our team. This role provides care for patients with stroke, neurological, and med-surg diagnoses in a 26-bed, high-acuity unit equipped with Baxter pumps, GE Telemetry, and bladder scanners.

Shifts Available: Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Patient Ratio: 1:6 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret patient health data to guide care plans.

• Monitor vital signs and respond to emergent, life-threatening conditions.

• Administer medications safely and educate patients/families on care plans.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Promote accountability, safety, and teamwork within the unit.

• Active RN license in Florida or Compact state (required).

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience (required).

• Acute Rehab RNs (Kindred, Encompass, HealthSouth, Select Specialty) may be considered if comfortable in a Stroke Unit.

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.

• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire.

• BLS certification within 30 days; ACLS certification within 6 months.
