Registered Nurse Cardiac Neuro Telemetry

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide evidence-based care in our Cardiac Neuro Telemetry (Med-Tele) Unit. This unit specializes in treating patients with cardiovascular and neurological conditions, including post-CABG, myocardial infarction, chest pain, and other high-acuity diagnoses.

Schedule: Full-Time | Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Pay Range: $29.00 – $42.13 per hour (based on experience)
Incentives:

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

• Differentials: Nights +$4.50/hr, Weekends +$1.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients with cardiac and neurological diagnoses.

• Interpret telemetry strips and promptly respond to arrhythmias and emergent conditions.

• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and interventions accurately.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.

• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and discharge planning.

• Current Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must convert to FL license within 90 days).

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.

• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience required.

• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required.

• NIHSS certification required within 30 days of hire.

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required (BSN preferred).   

Preferred:

• Previous experience in telemetry, stepdown, or med/surg telemetry units.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Long-term commitment (this is not a travel contract role).
