Job description
We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing and processing images in PACS, ensuring high-quality standards of patient care. This role includes opportunities to work in multiple settings, including the main hospital and freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs).
Available Shifts:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7a–7p
Monday–Thursday: 11p–7:30a
Monday–Friday: 11a–7:30p
Weekend Days @ FSED: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7a–7p
Responsibilities:
Perform CT procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare and process images for physician interpretation via PACS.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Participate in on-call rotations as needed (minimum 2 hours, paid at time-and-a-half).
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology.
1 year of CT experience preferred (acute care experience required for FSED roles).
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician License.
ARRT Registered Radiographer.
ARRT Registered Computerized Tomography Technician.
BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
