Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are hiring full-time Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This position is ideal for experienced acute care nurses who excel in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Available Shifts

• Day Shift – 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM)

• Night Shift – 12-hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) with $4/hr night differential

• Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and treat patients requiring intermediate-level care

• Implement individualized care plans and document patient progress

• Administer medications, treatments, and post-op care

• Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital safety protocols

• 1+ year of recent acute care PCU experience required (within the last 12 months)

  • ER RNs with recent acute experience or Med-Surg RNs with 3+ years in acute settings may also be considered

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

• Active RN license in Florida or multistate compact (must apply for FL license if not held)

• BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire

• ACLS (AHA) required within 60 days of hire
