Manager of Intensive Care Unit RN

We are seeking a Manager for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to lead day-to-day operations of our 42-bed ICU/CVICU. This full-time leadership role supports mixed shifts and offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced trauma and critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ICU operations, staffing, and scheduling to ensure exceptional patient care

• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement best practices

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

• Manage admissions, discharges, and patient throughput

• Foster a positive team culture through coaching, mentorship, and engagement

• Oversee departmental budget, supply use, and identify cost-saving strategies

• Ensure ongoing training and performance development for nursing staff

• 3+ years of acute care leadership experience in critical care (as RN Charge, Supervisor, or Manager – relief charge not accepted)

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

• Florida RN license required

• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required upon hire

• Patient population includes: Neuro, surgical, trauma, cardiac, and respiratory cases

• Reports to: Director of Critical Care
