Oncology Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical Unit

We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Unit. This role involves providing expert nursing care to oncology patients within a multidisciplinary team focused on improving patient outcomes in a supportive environment.

Shift Options:

• Day Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM (rotating weekends)

• Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM (rotating weekends) 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient health assessments

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans

• Advocate for patient safety and holistic well-being

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Provide patient and family education on treatments and medications

• Manage complex clinical situations with autonomy and confidence

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience (acute care preferred; LTAC considered)

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
