Med-Surg Ortho RN

We are hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Med-Surg Orthopedic Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to provide care for patients recovering from orthopedic procedures as well as medical and surgical cases. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and fellow nurses in a team-focused environment.

Shifts Available:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)      

Key Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive patient data and perform accurate clinical assessments

• Coordinate and deliver individualized patient care

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and medications

• Monitor and evaluate patient response to interventions

• Maintain documentation and adhere to all hospital policies and regulatory standards

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred, LTAC acceptable)

• Licensure:

  • Active Florida RN license or eligible to obtain

• Education:

  • ADN required; BSN preferred

• Certifications:

  • BLS required

  • ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
