Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory tests in areas including Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Serology, and Microbiology

  • Perform complex analysis using microscopic, immunologic, and chemical testing

  • Document and resolve instrumentation problems; conduct equipment troubleshooting and repair

  • Ensure proper quality control measures are followed and documented accurately

  • Train new hires or students and participate in specimen collection and processing

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field

  • Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist registry required

  • Florida Generalist License or eligibility at time of hire

  • ASCP or equivalent certification preferred

  • Open to candidates with any level of experience, including new grads with strong lab fundamentals
