Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN to provide top-tier care to cardiac and post-surgical patients in an acute care setting. You’ll monitor telemetry, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Available Shifts:

  • Days (Rotating Weekends)

  • Nights (Rotating Weekends, +$4.25/hr Differential)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients

  • Provide care to post-surgical and critically ill patients

  • Administer medications and treatments

  • Educate patients and families

  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation

  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams

Important Notes:

  • Must live within 60 minutes of the facility

  • Day shift: 5:1 or 6:1 patient ratio

  • Night shift: 6:1 patient ratio

  • In-person interview required (includes shadowing, facility tour, admin interview)

  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within last 4 years)

  • Active RN license in Florida or multistate compact eligibility

  • BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)

  • ACLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)

  • RN candidates with 3+ years of experience and a compact license must apply for Florida RN license

  • Competitive Pay – Earn up to $43/hr
