Job description
As a Renal Vascular RN, you will provide safe and compassionate nursing care to adult patients with renal and vascular conditions in a high-acuity setting. This role is integral to the multidisciplinary care team and demands strong time management, patient advocacy, and clinical competency. The average nurse-to-patient ratio is 7:1.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients in renal and vascular units
Conduct assessments, administer treatments, and ensure patient safety
Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and procedures
Manage supplies, equipment, and documentation efficiently
Collaborate with physicians and support teams to ensure quality outcomes
Required:
1 year of recent acute care RN experience (Med-Surg, Med-Tele, IMU, or PCU)
Active RN license in Florida or compact/multistate license
BLS certification (AHA)
NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Candidates must live within a 60-minute commute of the facility
