Job description
The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing patient conditions. This role demands accuracy, patient care, and technical proficiency in operating MRI equipment and working with PACS systems. Candidates will work in a well-supported diagnostic environment.
Shift:
Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct MRI exams according to physician orders and established protocols
Operate MRI equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards
Produce high-quality diagnostic images with attention to cross-sectional anatomy
Document procedures accurately in PACS and EMR
Communicate effectively with patients, providing care and reassurance throughout procedures
Maintain MRI suite cleanliness and readiness
Coordinate with radiologists and referring providers for optimal patient outcomes
Associate degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience (3+ years preferred)
ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications required
Florida Radiologic Technologist License required
BLS certification required
