Job description
- Professional experience in all aspects of TIBCO Spotfire development including Information designer and custom Python scripts.
- Strong conceptual understanding of relational database systems.
- Strong ability to understand analytic specifications, translate specifications into TIBCO Spotfire visualizations and /or underlying code.
- Experience with extracting and combining different data sources, different databases and data warehouses
- Strong ability to develop meaningful and consistent quality checks throughout the development process.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Experience in developing User Interfaces.
Specific Technical Skills ranked from most to least important, as follows
- C# and .NET Framework Development
- Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, and Relational Databases
- Knowledge of Python or IronPython Scripting
- Tibco Spotfire and Web player
- Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing
Other
- Experience programming in R or S+ is a plus
- Requirement gathering
- Analyze/Understand the business requirements and provide suggestions to customer
- Design the report
- Knowledge of entire architecture (eg: interface to Database, .Net, SharePoint etc) vs. just having knowledge only on report part they worked
