Sterile Processing Technician - Surgery Gen Main PV

Sterile Processing Technician at Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA. This position is Part-time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts. Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilizing of re-usable instruments and trays used hospital-wide. Pulls instruments and supplies for OR case carts. Demonstrates a clear understanding of decontamination procedures and risk of cross contamination, aseptic technique, sterilization methods and sterility assurance. Is aware of the importance of strict attention to detail in all areas including but not limited to the functionality of all instrumentation.
