Job Description:

 

The EAG group manages and supports the SOA backplane used by all of the OTDA systems. This backplane encourages intersystem interoperability and reuse of existing IT assets.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to

  • Administer Websphere MQ. The MQ environment includes over 8 Queue Managers and dozens of non-production Queue Managers. These Queue Managers run on JBoss (RHEL), Message Broker (RHEL) and Unisys 2200 environments.
  • Administer Websphere Message Broker. The Message Broker environment includes 2 production instances and 7 non-production instances. The environment operates over 20 MQ flows and 6-8 web service flows. Message Flows include Java, ESQL and XSLT code.
  • Develop Websphere Message Broker Flows (ESQL, Java, XSLT, XSD). Message Flows are usually interoperate with JBoss EAP, Oracle and the Unisys 2200. Some Message flows are called over 4500 times an hours and are mission critical.
  • Administer Red Hat Linux (RHEL). All of our middleware environments run on RHEL. This includes over 12 production instances and several dozen non-production instances.
  • Administer and configure SOA Software. We have two production instances of Service Manager and 7 non-production instances of Service Manager. This environment virtualizes over 20 production web services, and over a dozen MQ services are planned to be virtualized in the next year.
  • Administer Apache Web Server. Our SOA Software infrastructure is reverse proxied by Apache Web Server. Occasional maintenance is required.
  • Administer PKI Infrastructure. MQ, Message Broker, SOA Software and our consuming applications require private keys to be acquired from our Certificate Authority. Moreover, public certificates must be distributed to and from our service consumers. Familiarity of PKI Architecture, toolsets to support PKI and an understanding of encryption and digital signature is required.

Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and following should apply:

MQ and Message Broker Administration

Linux Administration

Message Broker Development

Java Development

SOA Software administration
