We are currently looking for experienced Construction Laborers to perform tasks related to sewer and water pipe repair and rehabilitation operations in the Knoxville, TN area and/or southeastern region of the United States. The company seeks talented candidates with a high learning ability to move up the construction ladder. Candidates with basic construction experience are encouraged to apply. We are currently offering a limited sign-on bonus of $2,000 for new hires without a CDL license if they meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program. Starting pay is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

What You Will Do:
- Perform construction tasks related to sewer pipe repair operations.
- Support the foreman and skilled production workers to ensure project goals are met.
- Install pipes safely and correctly.
- Unloading tools, and materials and assisting in setting up equipment.
- Directing traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site.
- Use certified chains and roll hoses around pipes and manholes.
- Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
- Ensure safety practices and policies are followed.
- Digging, leveling, etc. using shovel, rake and other small power tools.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment from our vocational vehicles and trailers.
- Set up and/or monitor bypass pumping systems.
- Enter confined spaces and exit into manholes and/or underground structures.
What We Need from You:

- Valid Drivers’s License Required
- Ability to travel extensively 100% of the time each week, which could have you away from home for 2-3 weeks at a time.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, stretch, use hands to handle objects, tools or controls; talk and hear without visual cues, lift push, and pull up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations. Preferred Education/Experience
- Completion of Heavy Equipment Operator School, or similar trade school or vocational program
- Enrollment in an Accredited Construction Labor or Heavy Equipment Operator Apprenticeship Program
- 6+ months underground utility construction, commercial building experience, farm, landscaping, or other basic construction experience, specifically using rakes, shovels and other small power tools required.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a Plus
