Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated associate to join a Tax Credit Finance & Syndication Practice Group with a top raged national law firm for their Washington, DC office. The successful candidate will work primarily  with our New Markets Tax Credit team focusing on community development and revitalization, particularly on structuring and closing investments that use tax credit incentives as a means of financing projects in underserved communities across the country.

The attorneys in the firm's Syndication practice partner with their clients to structure their present and future tax credit transactions.  From housing and new markets to historic preservation and renewable energy, no firm has a deeper bench of well-connected industry experts.

Job Requirements:The ideal candidate will have one to three years of transactional experience and interest in community development finance.  Knowledge of real estate finance, government incentive programs, partnerships and limited liability companies, and an aptitude for analyzing financial projections helpful.  Experience at a large law firm is a plus. Tax credit experience welcomed but not required.

Excellent academic credentials, superb communication and writing skills, a self-starter with a commitment to excellence and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, a must.
