VMware/Windows Administrator

This is a request for a server/datacenter position to support the various datacenters and data that is used to support the operations.

Sample Role Types: Technical Specialist, Product Specialist, System Specialist, Security Analyst

Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.

Description (including, but not limited to)

• Guidance and leadership in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Developer / Programmer.
• Understanding and knowledge of application development and architecture that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program.
• Analysis, visual design, development, data analysis, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions, maintenance (including production support), etc.

Required Skills: VMware/vcenter administration Windows and active directory administration Backup and restore process Familiar with IP addressing Software installations and updates Disaster recovery and replication understanding Good understanding of RAIS Scripting and automation Storage background Network background VOIP background Linux/Unix Server imaging
