Job description
The Sr. Project Manager will have overall accountability for the successful execution of the project based upon agreed deliverables and timelines. The Sr. Project Manager will work with the customer to create and finalize the overall project plan to include the Schedule, Risk, Change Management, Project Governance, and Communication plans. In addition, the Sr. Project Manager will be the ultimate point of contact, including escalation contact, for both client and the customer. The Sr. Project Manager will be hosting regular on site meetings with the customer and conference calls.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing personnel and project resources for a successful delivery of project objectives
- Developing and providing senior management status reports
- Securing and matrix managing all resources necessary for project execution
- Developing joint communication requirements between Client and the Customer
- Developing the Project Plan jointly with the client project team, the Customer, and associated vendors
- Leading development of processes and procedures required for network implementation
- Overseeing the completion of all steps in the defined process
- Chairing the Change Management Team
- Establishing reporting procedures with the Customer and Client
- Coordinating team efforts throughout implementation, ensuring on-time delivery of the project
- Publishing open action items and status reports
- Ensuring overall project delivery is compliant with the contract Mandatory Qualifications:
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Two or more years’ experience in Project Management role overseeing deployment of contact center solutions
- Located in or close to Albany, NY to attend weekly on-site meetings during length of project
- Knowledge with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook
- Willingness to work extended hours as necessary
- Strong time management
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Two or more years’ experience in Project Management role overseeing deployment of contact center solutions
