This position is a Federal Work Study position that will be responsible for assisting the Office Manager with on-campus errands, projects, and departmental tasks: Some of the duties will include, but are not limited to:
General Office
- Communicate with staff, faculty, employers, alumni, and students via phone, email, Teams, and F2F interactions.
- Answer all incoming phone calls, assisting and directing callers as appropriate, and delivering messages.
- Assist CCPD staff with special student-centered topics and projects.
- Monitor and maintain the Student Assistant email account, responding accordingly.
- Implementation of brand standards and consistency measures
- Conducting research of relevant audiences and best practices
Qualifications required:
- Enrolled as a Mercer University student
- Access to personal computer to complete work outside of the office as needed
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Flexibility, experience with team projects and collaboration
- Ability to meet deadlines and anticipate next steps or needs

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour
