Intern/Trainee Consultant (Law Background)

Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated interns with a Law or Legal background to join our Risk & Regulatory Compliance team for a project supporting a leading bank. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced consultants on high-impact client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of risk and regulatory compliance projects for banking clients
• Conduct legal, compliance and regulatory research, analysis, documentation and implementation
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance frameworks and controls
• Participate in client meetings and workshops
• Collaborate with a diverse team of consultants to deliver project milestones
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other project deliverables
• Works with Managing Director, Manager, Senior Consultant and Consultant to deliver project

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field
• Strong interest in risk management, regulatory compliance, and the financial services sector
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English is required
• Proficiency in Japanese and/or Mandarin is highly advantageous
• Prior experience in Banking, Consulting or Financial Services is highly advantageous
