The Opportunity
Join us as Meat Process Worker at Harvey Beef, where you’ll play a key role in the processing of our premium beef products. Whether you’re experienced or new to the industry, we’ll provide the comprehensive training and support you need to succeed. We are seeking individuals who can excel in the following areas:
Packer and Labourer:
Pack meat products with precision and attention to detail
Adhere to Quality Control Checks to maintain product integrity
Thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Skilfully label products for distribution
Identify and categorize different cuts of beef for packing
Operate Cryovac machinery
Perform general labouring tasks as needed
Freezer Hand:
Efficiently load containers with frozen beef products
Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move palletised stock within the warehouse
Assist in the dispatch section as required
Wrap pallets and organize stock for efficient storage
Engage in manual lifting duties, including handling frozen cartons
Chiller Hand:
Skilfully mark carcasses and perform precise cutting using handheld circular saws
Engage in heavy manual handling when pushing carcasses
Empty chillers on both sides simultaneously
Manage the movement of hooks along rail systems
Scan carcass identification labels using handheld scanners
Safely execute work procedures and activities
Foster constructive and cooperative working relationships with team members
Report all incidents or hazards promptly without delay
