Job Description

Key responsibility

• Executes management plans for day-to day inland transport operation
• Ensure all subordinates and self complies with required process and procedures
• Set daily target with regards to budget and management instruction
• Monitor daily performance based on target and analyze root cause for below target performance
• Monitor variable cost compared to budget, and KPI as a whole and by truck.
• Report and investigate abnormal cost, mileage and parameter to management
• Monitor driver and give appropriate disciplinary action based on authority and grievances
• Involves in truck and load rescue during accident or breakdown as per required
• Accepts and records customer complains
• Entertain and discuss with customers and relevant external parties
• Ensure performance report by driver and truck
• Attend meetings/discussion/ seminar etc when required
• Accepts and executes Regional Manager Instructions/commands from time to time
• Prepare operation budget and performance analysis
