Job description

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To plan, organize, implement and execute Sales, Marketing and Business Development activities related to External Inland Transportation Business to ensure projects secured, effectively and efficiently. In addition, candidate need to ensure maximum (optimal) utilization of resources with the objective of meeting the customers’ project delivery schedules/deadlines and Company’s goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead & manage a team of sales personals to explore new market & implementation of total logistic sales strategy for Inland Distribution (External Market).
  • Actively organizing sales activities and work closely with internal Inland stakeholders to develop new initiatives to drive sales growth and support business expansion.
  • Establish sales business plan to promote and sell services to External existing or potential clients which target to expand customer database.
  • Organize customer visit to promote service packages and propose quotation to customers in a timely manner.
  • Update/record all business development/sales activities using CRM on a timely manner.
  • Monthly business development meeting & generate sales report for analysis to identify business strength & opportunities.

COMPETENCIES

  • Good understanding of logistics solution concepts and demonstrate solutions with value added propositions offering.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with effective Interpersonal skills.
  • To generate and monitor activity report through new and regular customer visit of more than 50 visits per month.
  • To submit activity and activity report every week and on time.
  • To ensure all customer inquiries to be responded within 48 hours of request and to be logged timely and accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales and Marketing Economics or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Inland Distribution, Supply Chain or Project Logistics.
  • Proven track record in team management and cross-functional collaborations, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for operational efficiency and commercial growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in using data to drive business decisions.
  • Result-oriented, and enjoy working in dynamic environment.
