Our company is seeking a reliable, independent, and self-driven Chargeman BO (11kV) to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical installations, responding to emergencies, and ensuring all work aligns with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating construction work for 11kV switchgears, cables, and transformers.
Dealing with utility providers like TNB, government regulatory bodies, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Responding to electrical failures and carrying out rectification works, potentially on a 24-hour call basis.
Conduct contingency inspection (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) accordingly with the contract.
Ensure that all PM schedule and approach is up-to-date and standardized.
Give support to all sites in all system matters especially when there is a major breakdown.
Perform other work-related tasks such as facility audit, site visit, variation order etc. as and when required by the company.
Prepare and monitor work requests for repair and maintenance problems.
Carry out troubleshooting and coordinate the maintenance of building system.
Plan, supervise and monitor facility breakdown and make sure all building operation are in order and function well.
Train, monitor and evaluate all works given to technician and follow standard service.
Prepare and maintain progressed record and maintenance schedule.
Prepare and carryout preventive maintenance (PPM).
To perform all other duties and functions as and when assigned by the superiors.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must possess a valid Chargeman BO 11kV certification, along with a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Property Development, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience, preferably in property management, shopping complexes, or the retail sector.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literate with strong report writing capabilities.
A proactive self-starter with maturity, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability in people management and staff coaching.
Willing to be on-call and respond to emergency situations.
