Job description

1. Corporate & Strategic Planning

  • Lead the formulation of the Group’s annual business plan, 3-to-5-year strategic plans, and rolling forecasts in alignment with corporate objectives.

  • Develop and manage corporate-level scorecards, KPIs, and performance dashboards for the real estate, infrastructure, and supporting business segments.

  • Facilitate strategic review sessions with business units and subsidiaries to ensure alignment with market demands, regulatory trends, and corporate targets.

2. Real Estate & Infrastructure Portfolio Management

  • Oversee the Group’s project and investment portfolio, including property development projects, infrastructure investments, and joint ventures.

  • Monitor project pipeline (residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments), tracking financial health, progress, and strategic fit.

  • Evaluate portfolio performance and provide insights on risk exposure, profitability, IRR, and alignment with long-term business priorities.

3. Investment & Capital Planning

  • Conduct feasibility studies, scenario modeling, and ROI analysis for new project proposals and strategic investments.

  • Work closely with Finance and Project Development teams to support capital budgeting, financial planning, and funding strategies.

  • Develop business cases for landbanking, asset monetization, development phasing, and infrastructure projects.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Consolidate, analyze, and report group-wide performance to the Executive Committee, Board, and key stakeholders.

  • Highlight operational gaps and propose strategic interventions to improve execution of key projects and financial targets.

  • Track market trends and policy changes affecting real estate, infrastructure, construction costs, and project risk exposure.

5. Strategic Initiatives & Business Development

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on transformation initiatives, cross-sector partnerships, and government/private-led infrastructure projects.

  • Identify and recommend strategic opportunities including land acquisition, township expansion, smart city initiatives, and public-private partnerships (PPP).

  • Support due diligence and integration processes for mergers, acquisitions, and divestments related to land or infrastructure assets.

6. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Heads of Business Units (e.g., Development, Project Management, Engineering, Property Management, and Finance) to align on project pipelines and business priorities.

  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities, consultants, and local councils on strategic planning inputs and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Support Group Managing Director and C-level executives with board presentation materials, investor proposals, and strategy briefings.
