Job Description Summary
JOB PURPOSE
Based on the activities assigned by his/her superiors, the workshop technician carries out workshop work on equipment (analyses, in-depth diagnostics, repairs). He/she is a technical reference.
Job Description SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES
- Carry out functional and performance tests on equipment before and after intervention
- Carry out in-depth diagnostics, in collaboration with technical assistance
- Carry out repairs based on technical documentation
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (overhauls, etc.) based on maintenance plans and operating procedures
- Parameterize and calibrate hardware based on customer application
- Understand and use technical documentation (manuals, data sheets, etc.)
- Complete the various business documents and tools relating to operations (reports, hours worked, logbooks, etc.)
- Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION
- Ensure quality of work
- Ensure the conformity of the workstation and tools provided
- Be a technical reference in the workshop
- Keep to standard times
- Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules
- Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.)
- Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.).
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE
Diploma(s) and/or experience(s)
Vocational baccalaureate to Bac +2 level in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering or 5 years' significant experience preferred.

- In-depth professional knowledge in the technical field (mechanical, electrical, electrical engineering, hydraulics, etc.)
