Job Description Summary

JOB PURPOSE

Based on the activities assigned by his or her superiors, the turner-miller restores parts.

Job Description SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

• Analyze all parts to be produced or restored
• Identify machining phases and set tool machining parameters (cutting, reloading, honing, etc.)
• Carry out various turning and/or milling operations
• Check conformity of machined parts
• Understand and use technical documentation (manufacturing drawings, manuals, exploded diagrams, etc.)
• Complete the various documents and business tools relating to operations (reports, etc.). hours worked, logbooks, etc.)
• Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION

• Guarantees conformity and lead times for the production or restoration of parts
• Ensures conformity of the workstation and tools provided
• Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.)
• Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.)
• Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

DIPLOMAS AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S)

Level CAP to Bac professionnel in mechanics or machining preferred or significant experience preferred

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S)

Technical skill(s)

• Technical and machining skills (turning, milling, etc.)
• General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
• Basic knowledge of IT tools and information systems
