Embedded Software Engineer

Software Engineer (Phoenix, AZ 85027)   6 months plus   pay 47-54/hour

Must have US citizenship

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering
•Minimum 6 years engineering software development experience in Real-Time embedded systems and integration in an engineering lab environment required
•Minimum 6 years Experience coding with C and Ada languages
•Experience in all phases of DO-178B software lifecycle development
•Must be a US citizen or permanent resident due to export control requirements

Additional Qualifications:
•BSCE, BSCS, or BSEE preferred
•Experience in Perl language is a plus
•Experience with hardware emulators and logic analyzers is a plus
•Experience in Hardware/Software Integration is desired
•Experience with serial data communications protocols; ARINC 429 is desired
•Experience within a software configuration management system and use of software archiving/version control such as ACM/CM21 is a plus
•Experience with VAX operating system is a plus
•Experience generating and writing supporting documents such as software requirements, software design documents, user guide, etc
•Ability to work in a flexible environment with changing priorities and assignments
•Six Sigma Green Belt Certified is a plus
