Laboratory Supervisor I

• Responsibilities may include but not limited to supervision of staff, processes quality control, and overall production operation of the immunoassay department
• Assigns, oversees, and reviews the work of employees
• Directs all phases of work, quality, service, and costs
• Performs tests or assays as required. Supervisor will be responsible to
• Manage technical testing departments in a high volume reference laboratory
• Must be accountable and able to work with tenure staff.
• Supervisor will have 15-25 direct reports.
• Administrative: Ability to relate professionally with people, analytical abilities, compose letters/memorandum, coordinate events, motivate others, organizational skills, research information, time management, train employees, written and verbal communications, supervisory skills.
• Operate a personal computer

• Requires a B.S. /B.A. Degree w/1-3 years of experience.
• Must meet all State & Local licensing requirements for State of Texas
• Must meet CLIA requirements
• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Pay Rate: DOE
• Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 12AM-8:30AM
